Your shark profile shows a renderer process doing busy spinning inside a
nested run
loop. That makes this bug 24337. The busy spinning began when something
threw a
JavaScript alert, that's also what caused you to be unable to close one or
more tabs. It's
fixed in r28811 and 222.5.
