Probably a better solution would have nothing to do with Chrome. Google  
Docs could
make a "Print to Google Docs" virtual printer. Printing within any  
application could
print to this virtual printer which would create a PDF and upload to Google  
Docs
automatically. This would inherently work with Chrome as well as any other
application that prints.

I had been planning to do such a thing for a while, but had waited so long  
for the
Google Docs API to support PDF uploading (if finally does) that I lost  
steam.
