I installed Net Nanny 6.0.5.7 (14-day free trial) on Windows 7 RC 64-bit.
It works with Google Chrome 3.0.195.27. I suspect that Net Nanny only
works with specific applications. Chrome 1.0 uses WinInet, so Net Nanny
may support all WinInet-based apps. We switched to our own network
stack in Chrome 2.0. A message in that Help Forum thread on 2009-08-11
says:
I talked to Net Nanny support and found that it is fixed in Net Nanny
Version 6.0.4!
which supports my speculation that Net Nanny only supports specific
applications.
I marked this issue WontFix because it is obsolete.
