After discussion with Erik and others, I am convinced that Erik is right --
we should
not removed the pinned items, since they function not as markers of
browsing history
(which is what the unpinned items represent), but as bookmarks, which we
also do not
remove. I am changing this to wontfix, and filing a bug to not erase the
thumbnails
for pinned items (if it hasn't been filed already).
