Comment #3 on issue 26940 by crof...@googlemail.com: Chrome latest Beta
slow to open pages
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=26940

Definitely not a network switching scenario as in 19472. This is a wired
always on
network.
Wireshark is intimidating to me as a new user but I shall have a shot at it.
As far as repro consistency goes it just happens all the time maybe 25 or
even 40% of
http requests. I can be reading my igoogle page with the throbber still
turning away
for several minutes even though the pages is fully loaded; go to a new page
and the
throbber turns constantly on the tab while I look at a blank page-
sometimes the page
name comes up on the tab and then hitting refresh may bring the page down.
Often
there is nothing on the tab and it may need several refresh hits to
immediately bring
the page instantly into view.
I am also running Opera on a second screen and it always comes up instantly
so it is
definitely a Chrome issue.
