I have what I suspect is the same or similar problem: the icon shows as
nothing but a
pale blue arc that stretches 90 degrees from east to south (in compass rose
terms).
I notice it when using alt-tab to switch applications as well as in the
task bar. I'm
using Windows XP and Chrome 4.0.237.0. I included a screenshot of taskbar.
