Comment #73 on issue 16367 by crof...@googlemail.com: some http requests take many seconds or minutes http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16367
Have played with the 31554 build quite a bit today and it certainly has somewhat more speed compared to the stable version though the delayed load is still there. Two forms 1. The page loads but the spinner keeps going, forever, unless you attempt a refresh which may complete the page load. 2. Nothing appears apart from the spinner on the tab. Most times hitting refresh loads the page at once. You may want to try Opera 10 as it seems to load everything reliably and almost as quickly as Chrome. I am tempted to try the patch to disable socket recycling but the patch extension is new to me and I am not sure how to install it. In UK it is 1700 GMT and I am going out in an hour or so till 2300 so next time I see this log will be tomorrow morning. Let me know if I can do more. I shall try to get a both wireshark and net internals dumps on a problem page. BTW chromium crashed twice when I tried to increase font size - might be worth trying to repro -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
