Comment #33 on issue 5212 by [email protected]: BUG: Chrome does not respond to a mouse click at times http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=5212
@gwilson: It pretty clearly relates to the tabs still downloading content when you try to open the next tab; memory doesn't seem to be a big issue. I just repro'd it by opening a new tab and right-clicking each of my popular sites and choosing "Open in New Tab". Because I have a DSL connection and most of the sites there are pretty quick, I had to be sure to hit the slower ones that always have dynamic content (http://news.bbc.co.uk/, stackoverflow.com, a couple of Google Groups), but when I do hit those it's trivial to replicate: The right-click menu appears, but you can't select items from it. I'd suggest making yourself a link page that links to things that take a while and trying again. If you're on a nice fat corporate connection or FiOS, I'd suggest trying it with something a bit slower, like a 2MB DSL, or with sites that take their own sweet time regardless of _your_ connection. :-) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
