One follow up here: I believe Reston has a net appliance trying to be "smart" on it's network traffic (I can get the details if we want). It seems like this could be used in other businesses. So while it is unique to Reston in our testing, it probably can happen in many real world situations. The networking layers in Safari, Firefox, etc. don't seem to have this issue, so Chrome will look poor to those users in these types of environments.
