Comment #2 on issue 23728 by weatherman.mark: Adobe Flash - Chrome 100% cpu, not usable to go to another URL, etc until you scroll off the flash content. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=23728
Yes - it only happens when the flash content is visually on the screen being viewed. If I am able to scroll down and the content is not visible, it starts responding again. This is using a P4 2.8 Ghz system and the latest version of Flash (10). You can test with my own personal site, but any page with flash content will do it. It seems to only be an issue on slower workstations - as other PCs I have tested that have better video/processor, you don't notice the problem. www.weather-station.org is my site and has flash content. Only slower workstations will notice this - but this doens't happen when using other browsers. Once the content is on the screen - type in another URL on the address bar (anything), and it will sit there endlessly. Scroll down away from the flash content and it will respond right away. - Mark -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
