New issue 27685 by m...@chromium.org: [Extensions] Pack extension with no manifest file should fail http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=27685 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a folder 2. Go to chrome extensions management page 3. Try to Pack that folder What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Since the folder is not a valid extension folder(without manifest.json file), chrome should prompt user with an appropriate error.
