That's one possibility. However, if a user has N extensions installed and  
they all
release new versions once a week and each new version requires a little bit  
more space,
then after a couple of weeks the user will just click "Yes" any time (s)he  
sees that
dialog box. That's bad, because now an extension can ask "Can I use your  
entire hard
drive?" and the user will click "Yes" to that too.
