Pasting in the body is convenient but error prone. Many times I have accidentally navigated to a random page while trying to paste something into a text field, but missing by a pixel or two. For me, middle clicking on the favicon in Firefox is a good compromise. In Chrome, middle clicking on the "+" is pretty intuitive. Middle clicking the Go button currently opens the URL in the location bar in a new tab, but it would be more useful IMHO to open the primary selection in the current tab (for the former, it's quicker to press Alt-Enter after typing in the URL). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
