Comment #3 on issue 27911 by [email protected]: TCMalloc needs to be forked in order to compile correctly http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=27911
Just my two cents. If my svn-foo is strong, we rolled tcmalloc only 5 times (including adding tcmalloc into DEPS files), dates are Apr 21 (brought), Apr 27, May 19, Jun 10, Nov 2. Given that I'd vote for Steven's "vendor branch" approach---ease of .gyp understanding/hacking, ease of grepping (no need to discard duplicates), no complicated/cool games with headers by far outweights the troubles of rolling in a new version. Of course, YMMV. And very nice summary, Steven, thanks a lot. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
