Sorry I didn't make it clear, my request is not covered by issue 27702. What I'm suggesting is, an API that allows the extension to trigger an existing keyboard shortcut, not create one. For example, their are no extension APIs that re-open recently closed tabs yet, but the hotkey "Ctrl+Shift+T" does that, if there is an general extension API to trigger global hotkeys, extensions can do such tasks right away. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
