obiazzi: NSS error -8030 is SEC_ERROR_BAD_HTTP_RESPONSE. This is caused by the http:// URL in the AIA extension. (NSS doesn't support file:// URL.) So your problem is different from but related to the empty-host-name LDAP URL problem.
