The report I made was about my home laptop after updating yesterday evening (GMT+1). This morning I updated my job PC (though I didn't check what version I got) and I had the same problem almost. I think the mouse cursor didn't disappear until after a couple of seconds this time. Now, after reading your last comment I checked the version (4.0.249.25) and the problem is gone.
