I, for one, will not change to Chrome as my default browser until I can use tab to cycle through the URLs. This is BASIC functionality which is included in Firefox and IE and which many people use! Exactly as others have said before, sometimes you don't want to go to the auto-completed URL as it's not correct or you want a sub-site, or a completely different site altogether.
