Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: OS-Mac Area-Misc Pri-2 Type-Bug New issue 30217 by emmiford: Pulling a tab off onto the desktop switches spaces (possibly to the space I opened chrome in) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=30217
Chrome Version : 4.0.249.30 URLs (if applicable) : OS version : 10.6.1 Behavior in Safari 3.x/4.x (if applicable): "Move tab to new window" with ctrl-click on tab works properly Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows: N/A (no spaces) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open chrome. 2. Open a window in a different space 3. pull off a tab to the desktop What is the expected result? The tab pulls off and becomes an independent window in that space What happens instead? I am taken to a different space, possibly the space where I first opened chrome (I can't test it without closing this bug!) Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. If you drag a tab from one chrome window to another and don't ever have the cursor over the desktop background, then the tab will move correctly from one window to the next. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
