I talked to Ian Hickson about making anti-aliasing optional/controllable in  
<canvas>,
and he was pretty opposed to the idea.  I agree that it's nice to not  
anti-alias images,
and my pre3d texturing will look bad if we "fix" this bug.  However, there  
is a point and
advantage to having all browsers match each other, and right now Chrome is  
the one
that's different than everyone else...
