restating comment 13: You CAN manually edit your bookmarks at ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks with a text editor for the time being. just scroll down to the bottom where it says Other and delete the bookmarks listed that you don't want, save the file, and restart Chrome, and they'll be gone.
