Comment #23 on issue 13551 by [email protected]: The "position
indicators" on the scroll bar behaves abnormally on a page with a frameset

Chromium 4.0.285.0 (Developer Build 35335) / Windows
OK, here is the issue as I see it. When you have a page with more than 1
frame, only
the position indicators for the FIRST frame are drawn while you are typing
the search
string into the find-in-page box. Then, Chrome waits until some event
comes along
that forces a redraw of the indicators in the other frames. Such an event
would be
passing the mouse cursor over the scroll bar area.
It sounds like a straightforward fix. When the search string is typed in,
instead of
just drawing the indicators for just the first frame, iterate through ALL
the frames
and do the drawing.
In the attached reduction, type the word "Japanese" into the find-in-page
box. The
problem becomes more obvious when you have an example where the scroll bars
for both
frames are visible.
