Comment #11 on issue 11321 by glen42: Allow user to set global default page zoom level http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=11321
This is the one singular major issue I have with Chrome. I sit back 3' from my monitor, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to a page I have to zoom twice. Exactly twice, without exception. Please implement a universal zoom level setting for all web pages. Please do it quickly. For now, I very much need a "zoom up twice universally for every page on the net" setting. I cannot imagine that this is a complicated modification, but as of current the lack of a universal zoom setting makes Chrome excruciating to use. That should take, what? 3 hrs of coding and 2 hrs of validation at most? Otherwise, I love Chrome. Best of the bunch so far, but tis one lacking feature makes it a pain to use. If nothing else, and this feature is not to be added until version 5, then perhaps an attendant simple script to input "[command]-[plus] [command]-[plus]" according to which setting the user selects every time Chrome opens a new page (as a workaround)? If I cannot get this one solved, I will have to go back to FF as my default, just so I can read the pages. :-( -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
