I tested with 1.0.156.0 (Developer Build 7536) and Java 6 U17, and I can
still reproduce
this bug.
sunandt, if you try with Firefox you'll see rows of data in the applet
box. I don't know
why Chromium 28722 failed to render the applet border. Maybe that version
failed to load
Java somehow? At any rate, that difference seems like a different issue.
I see the same result in 7536 as I get with 35073. Removing the regression
label, and
downgrading to P2.
It looks like the applet may be having trouble fetching data. Perhaps a
comparison of the
network traffic in Firefox versus Chrome would be informative.
