-Currently in Chrome localStorage is only available by default to extensions code (toolstrips, background pages, etc. but not in content scripts). You can enable to for all pages, not just extensions, by running chrome with the '--enable-local-
storage' command line flag.

The above statement seems to be incorrect, as the local storage is not enabled for all pages in regular chrome installation. Do we need to install the Chrome for
extensions beta? and use the command line flag for all pages?
