Sorry, I missed a crucial bit out - OOPS,
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup a printer (usb) on another computer
2. Connect to computer via network eg \\computername\printershare
3. Set this printer as default
IMPORTANT BIT - take laptop home and try and print (default printer now
off-line)
4. Try to print from Chrome
Even if it is not online/available all other programs would still pop up
with the
printer selection dialog where I would select a more suitable printer. I
can work
round this fault by setting CutePDF as default printer (it's always
available) and
then remembering (almost every time) to select a different printer when
printing. (or
changing my default every time I need to print from Chrome - not fun)
