I get this problem with Firefox (3.5.7 on Mac) too. When I copy text from
Open Office
(3.1.1) to a Gmail message in Firefox, the pasted text is prepended by this
line:
Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000167 EndHTML:0000001133 StartFragment:0000000476
EndFragment:0000001117
Firefox version: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US;
rv:1.9.1.7)
Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7
