Comment #51 on issue 28104 by Satoshi.Matsuzaki: Win7 - Second icon spawns
on superbar when Chromium is launched from pinned superbar icon
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=28104
JumpList seems to be missing on Google Chrome 4.0.288.1 (Official Build
35555).
But Chromium 4.0.288.0 (Developer Build 35427) shows JumpList properly.
(Note: The 288 branch had been branched at r35427.)
1.Install and launch Chromium Build 35427.
2.Browse some webpages and then open "New Tab Page" (chrome://newtab/).
3.Right-click on Taskbar button of running Chromium and confirm JumpList is
shown.
4.Change startup page setting not to open "New Tab Page" on startup.
5.Quit Chromium.
6.Open "%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations" folder and
delete all *.customDestinations-ms files.
# Caution: This will remove all JumpList data of all applications.
# If you want to keep other app's JumpList, open each files by notepad.exe
# and search for which one is for Chromium.
7.Launch Chromium and right-click on Taskbar button of running Chromium
and confirm JumpList is NOT shown there.
8.Open "New Tab Page", then right-click on Taskbar button of running
Chromium.
This time, JumpList will be shown properly.
I've tried the same steps on fresh install of Google Chrome 4.0.288.1
with new (clean) user profile, but JumpList is never shown.
