Comment #10 on issue 31751 by maxim.marintchenko: Crome 4.0 does not work
through proxy
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=31751
Ok, I reinstalled Chrome to start off clean.
1. I'm in my ISP's network, proxy is not required and not configured.
Everything
works fine.
2. Started VPN, in this new network proxy is required and I set PAC script
in "Under
the hood".
3. Tried to open two random pages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohol and
http://www.bohol.ph/) and got "This web page is not available" (see
attachements)
4. Restarted Chrome - same two pages opened up fine.
5. Forgot to capture "about:net-internals" after step 3.
6. Repeated scenario from step 1 - now same pages opened fine right after
step 3,
without need to restart Chrome.
