UI Jank Task Force Status Update
The UI Jank Task Force is out to fix UI Jank and slowness in the browser. A

Status
John
- Chasing down browser hang from Target's website (Flash fetching many
URLs repeatedly)
Carlos
- Fighting with PGO build, several steps failing.
- A NaCl linking step fails - NaCl team looking into it with VS2008.
- Linker crashes. Will need to file a ticket upstream.
- Will try to build with LKGR today.
- Will give a build to John if he can get it building again.
- Darin landed a change to improve how we paint small updates (fast
scrolling rects).
Chase
- Infrastructure changes; changing how we gather perf test outputs.
- Has a patch that will fix orange on DHTML page cyclers. Will send the
CL to Carlos.
Evan
- Triaging Linux Jank bugs. Probably not many that are actionable right
now, though.
Tony
- Profiling renderer startup. Faster renderers -> faster new tabs.
