Google reader isn't a viable option for feeds on an intranet. The
ability to at least gracefully display RSS as a list of items should
be added. Firefox's display of the feed in a useful way (and the
option to subscribe to it from various services), is much more useful
than instead of an unformatted block of text. This is very useful in
feeds that have options (such as running a search on daily build
results and displaying as RSS), to make sure that the results of the
search are as expected prior to subscribing to the feed.
