Feed discovery is a nice feature.

I like the way Firefox handles this, by providing a little icon in the
location bar. Perhaps Chrome should do something like this too :)

Its non-obtrusive to users who don't want it, but its very handy for
those who subscribe to feeds regularly.

I think what would be nice to add; is the ability to add a common RSS
provider, like Google Reader, or an equivalent service. That way you
just click the icon and it sends off a request to your provider
instantly. Saves you having to navigate between tabs or clicking an
additional icon etc. Sort of like the way the bookmarks work. Click
and done.
