Fantastic!! This will impact the installed base of Chrome. Every specialist has some degree of tunnel vision, and although themes may not seem important to a developer, they will be critical to the acceptance of Chrome by the general public. The vast majority of the users will have very little clue about the inner workings of Chrome, but they will sure notice the color. Equally important will be what the default theme is. A large share of the market will not know how to change themes, and if the initial theme is the default "garbage bag blue" they will be put off.
