Hi, FYI Just wanted to let you developers know that Google Chrome on Linux is excellent. I'm using it on an older laptop; P3 Toshiba with only 128 Mb of ram (build 3.0.197.11).
The Linux build is definitely faster then when I'm using Windows XP SP3 on the /same/ hardware. In fact it was almost impossible to use with XP, as after a few minutes it would slow to a crawl. But I've been running it on this laptop now for 48 hrs and it's still showing the same speed as when it first started. Yay ! I'm sure I read somewhere that the Linux build will auto update. Is this correct ? Thanks. -- Cheers, Steve http://www.linkedin.com/in/torontostephenallen http://www.facebook.com/S.D.Allen http://portfolio-s-d-allen.blogspot.com/ http://friendfeed.com/chimpanze --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Chromium Discussion mailing list: [email protected] View archives, change email options, or unsubscribe: http://groups.google.com/group/chromium-discuss -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
