Yes they are currently working on those features, but they will first
come out on the Developer Channel so if you want to use them when they
come out, make sure you change your channel. Visit:

Bookmarklet. The reason it has taken this long, is because extensions
have just been implemented, and since extensions can contain code that
may be harmful, making them available means making sure that no bad
code can be on them, therefore it is taking some time, in order to
make sure that they work great, and they are safe too.
