One of the major problems with this page is the protocol abuse.
This is still one feature that is rarely, if ever, addressed when it
comes to things like this.
Yes, we can always make something like NoScript, but for those who
have no idea about it, this site can really freak people out because
they were tricked in to looking at it.

Also, the fact that JavaScript has some of the most stupid commands
ever possible that can be applied to a parent window.
A good example: window.resizeTo
Seriously, can someone tell me why this thing exists? Or at least who
came up with the idea? What person thought this would have ever been
acceptable behaviour?
Note that i speak of the ability to target the parent window, rather
than child windows. (popups)
It doesn't work in Chrome (let's keep it that way :]) and Opera , but
it does work in Firefox, IE. (not got Safari on here)

Alert boxes still modal to the whole browser window instead of a child
to the tabs. (which still defies the main principle literally behind
Chrome)
A solution would be to make them a child to the tabs (like popups) and
flash a tabs bar if there was an alert. (or popup, or... read on)
What if i had a message on Gmail that was urgent, but SUDDENLY, OUT OF
NOWHERE, popup. Then, like in Windows Vista, the user probably gets
frustrated, clicks the thing regardless of what it says ("Your
computer is going to turn in to a Blackhole, Cancel or Allow?") and
regrets it later...
Also, a new JavaScript function would really be quite useful in this
day and age of multi-tabbed browsers, window.flash, which flashes for
5 times on a 1 second delay, then stays a particular color depending
on the theme.
Too soon? Maybe, but it will probably happen sooner or later, why not
now? Browsers are becoming the new space for applications, as more
simple things like this are added, the more attractive it will become
as an application platform.
I should really "join" WHATWG ;)
