Hi Matt,
please lemme understand if I get this right. What you are saying
is that the extension is running fine. It is the data which it is not
getting from where it is supposed to get.
If I understand this right, then there are only two options I see.
a. Remove the extension from the samples page.
b. Make sure the information is there and gets feeded.
Its doesn't make sense to have an extension on the webpage
http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/extensions/samples
and not work IMHO as that would send a wrong signal/precedent to
developers.
