With a suspendable computer and never-crashing browsers you can go
months without restarting. The meaning of a "session" and dependent
concepts like lifetime of a session cookie or "session storage" have
changed a lot. Has anyone given some thought about redefining this in
Chromium? For example, if all tabs of a certain origin are closed,
could this indicate "end of session"? Or is the session concept just
ill-defined and should not be used? Should I just extend my session
cookies with a max lifetime?

Thx
Matthias
