David, perhaps the person who wrote you in private may have thought that your phrase "annoying 'bug'" meant that you were annoyed with Chrome?
In any event, I switch out of Chrome and Chromium every few days or so, depending on the stability of the latest build (and/or "annoying bugs"). I can't stay away... Chrome's speed and features are too compelling. And each time I come back, I notice that the developers have made significant improvements and progress. This time, it was the Cleeki extension that clinched it. I hadn't been able to get it to work before, but now it works great. The ability to 'peek' into a link without having to open it in a tab saves me a lot of wasted mouse movement. I'm still not entirely happy with the amount of memory (RAM) per tab used by Chrome, compared to other browsers, but I probably shouldn't be using tabs to save/store links anyway. I may be better served by having an integrated bookmark system that supports tags and other meta- information (this may have to be an extension) rather than keeping dozens of tabs open. For now, I'm going to try a two-browser usage model and see if that works for me.
