They care, but they go by popularity most of the time, because they prefer a lot of people will use their browser. The need to remove the header\footer on print is less common than the use of themes.
I agree with you that it should be fixed, but would you fix something that a small fraction of the people who use your product actually needs? Anyway, I do not think there is any point in continuing this debate. You are angry or disappointed because you cannot have your way, that is understandable. I have issues that I would like them to solve, as well, like certificate error management. But not a lot of people need it, so I am suffering and waiting, even though I am using the same 'bad' SSL web sites through most of my day at work, because the rest is good enough. Your case is different, obviously and it is a huge usability problem for you, of course. I really hope they will get this fixed soon, anyway. ☆PhistucK On Wed, Dec 2, 2009 at 09:26, <[email protected]> wrote: > Umm, no. > Also the people working on the project. > Let's face it, themes are done, print options are not. > Problems with the print options have been posted all over the place since > the FIRST day the upgrade went into effect that caused the problem. > Its not a small problem for those of us that have internet businesses. > It's HUGE. > It's the difference between looking professional, and looking like you dont > know what youre doing. > It is pretty obvious where the priorities lie for the people working on > this project. > MANY upgrades have come out since this problem first started, and none has > addressed this issue. > So its perfectly clear where the developers priorities lie. > They are more concerned with what the browser looks like than usability. > Ok, so its fast.
