They care, but they go by popularity most of the time, because they prefer a
lot of people will use their browser. The need to remove the header\footer
on print is less common than the use of themes.

I agree with you that it should be fixed, but would you fix something that a
small fraction of the people who use your product actually needs?

Anyway, I do not think there is any point in continuing this debate. You are
angry or disappointed because you cannot have your way, that is
understandable. I have issues that I would like them to solve, as well, like
certificate error management. But not a lot of people need it, so I am
suffering and waiting, even though I am using the same 'bad' SSL web sites
through most of my day at work, because the rest is good enough.

Your case is different, obviously and it is a huge usability problem for
you, of course.
I really hope they will get this fixed soon, anyway.
