Yes, for multiple engines it might be a better way to chose, overlooked that :). For a specific engine (e.g. something Wolfram should compute) i'll prefer to use one click and then just type the query in the 'auto-focused' textbox. I guess it comes down to pressing 2 or 3 keys before the query vs. a click before the query :)
