Hi all. I would like to know how to convert non-clickable - plain text
(example www.google.com) to clickable links - Google

This is mentioned in the tutorials for chrome extensions but they also
say that "currently, the only page you can replace is the New Tab
page". Most probably I got this wrong, but if you want to add "a" tag
to some plain text, I suppose you have to replace the page, right?

Sorry if this seems to obvious for you, but for me it is not and
that's why I am asking you for help.

Thanks.
