Hi Jack,
The JIRA was designed to remove jdbc dependency from hicc as the first step.
This jira has completed on removing jdbc from hicc. There are still parts of
Chukwa depends on jdbc, and these code need to be forward ported to remove
dependency on relational database. However, those are beyond the scope of this
jira.
