This looks like there is no data written to hdfs. This means the collector is
probably not running, or the configuration for chukwa-collector-conf.xml is not
configured correctly. I notice you use localhost as your namenode address.
This could cause problem on some system due to hdfs client can't match
127.0.0.1 with localhost. I recommend to use a real hostname for your
namenode, and make sure writer.hdfs.filesystem should match:
hdfs://hostname:port/ of the namenode uri. If this still fails, check
collector.log, it's probably in /tmp/chukwa/log/collector.log unless you
explicitly change the logging location. Hope this helps.

Eric

Hi,

I am doing chukwa setup on my machine. I had followed all the steps of the
setup. I have cross checked it with the docs available with me but still I am
getting the incomplete output.

The output which I am getting is as follows:

had...@ps6007:/usr/local/hadoop/hadoop/bin$
<mailto:had...@ps6007:/usr/local/hadoop/hadoop/bin$> ./hadoop fs -du
hdfs://localhost:543
10/chukwa
Found 1 items
0 hdfs://localhost:54310/chukwa/logs

It should print the /chukwa/repos content also. I tried a lot but I am not
getting the exact error.
