Dear Churchill group members, The Churchill Archives Centre exists to preserve and present the evidence for the life of Sir Winston, and to foster debate, and it is in that spirit that we are hosting the following lecture (by one of our own - a Fellow of Churchill College) on 20 Nov. The lecture, as the title implies, will be revisionist in tone but it is open to all and you are all most welcome to come along and challenge.
Allen Forthcoming events, 2008 Thursday 20th November 2008: Churchill: the right rhetoric, but the wrong policies A lecture by Nigel Knight. Nigel Knight is a Fellow of Churchill College and a Lecturer in British Politics at the University of Cambridge. He previously lectured at the University of Oxford and has worked in national politics both advising and writing policy. This is a chance to debate our founder and his place in history with the author of a recent critical study as Nigel's new book is entitled, "Churchill: The Greatest Briton Unmasked". 5.30pm, The Jock Colville Hall, Churchill College. All welcome. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ChurchillChat" group.
