Andrew, This is most interesting and I'd like to purchase a copy. I'm an amateur playwright myself. I've written four short plays about Churchill. They're historical fiction, but are mostly in consonance with what is in the history books. I fabricated a fictional face-to-face confrontation between Churchill and Hitler in the second of the four. Also, I've written a play about the Eastern Front in which Churchill, the good guy, appears briefly in contrast with the bad Stalin and the worse Hitler. Good luck with your play! Cheers, Carey Stronach

The play's dramatic premise is that after the dinner at 10 Downing Street 4.4.55 - exactly 55 years ago today - Churchill went to his wartime bunker in the Cabinet War Rooms to finally decide if he would go through with his resignation. He reviews his life, his speeches, and the many extraordinary events and people he has met with the wit and pathos we know. The show makes for an entertaining evening on our mutually favorite subject! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ChurchillChat" group.
