Greetings:

A friend and I were discussing history this week, and the topic came
up about whether there was the potential for Churchill meeting with
Hitler before the war started. We both know there was talk of it--
but we're racking our brains trying to remember WHEN it was
discussed. And wasn't there a famous reply from Churchill rejecting
the meeting?

This is driving both of us nuts, trying to remember the exact
context. Any help is appreciated--THANKS!

(Ms.) Pat Finnegan
