I was recently contacted by a publisher who has read some of my essays on the subject in a major Swedish morning paper. The book will be in Swedish (sorry) but naturally I hope for an English edition. I would be very thankful if my fellow list members could provide me information on sources. Naturally, I have access to a great number of speeches by WSC and to his own writing on the subject. I have also studied some of his role models (Cochran, Lord Randolph, Gladstone, Gibbons, Mackaulay, etc) and I have read an excellent book on the subject, written by James C Humes. Still, I would be very grateful for any information on individuals, institutions, scientific studies or non-fiction literature dealing with WSC as a rhetorical phenomenon.
