Dear All, To clarify and answer several queries: Dinner with Churchill is now available on Amazon UK but you will have to pay shipping costs if you order outside the UK. It is available now from third-party sellers on Amazon US. The paperback will be published in the UK in May 2012 and the American edition in the autumn 2012. As for the complaint that I did not include the dinners Churchill gave for Harry Hopkins at Ditchley, I can only say that had I included all the dinners and lunches over which Churchill presided, I would have an unwieldy book. Sherwood’s book is indeed listed in my bibliography. I did read both the Willis and Tree books but concluded they provided little that was not already covered by Sherwood.
