I am a volunteer at Chartwell and involved with a group researching stories
about Churchill & Chartwell. I wonder if anyone in this group can help with
a current query?

You may have heard of the Golden Rose Book, a gift from Churchill's
children on the occasion of their Golden Wedding anniversary that is
displayed in the Dining Room. One of the paintings in the Book is listed as
being by Betty Churchill, but the associated information folder provided by
the N.T. for visitors benefit has no details whatever as to who Betty
Churchill was. We do not think that she was a family member, so who exactly
was she?

A Google search (other search engines are also available as the BBC might
say ;-) ) produces no results for any Betty Churchill that might fit the
bill and have been an artist.

Can anyone help with further information please?

Thanks in advance.
